Hot homegrown chart-topper Gabriella Cilmi already has her name up in lights, thanks to her talent with the tunes.

Now she can add "fully fledged fashionista" to her impressive resume.

The Sweet About Me songbird, who divides her time between London and Australia, is on track to perform in Milan for Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana later this year after developing a rockin' relationship with the celebrity favoured designers.

In addition to dressing the teen star in their threads for her stage shows, D&G are also looking to secure Cilmi to headline a fash bash they are throwing inthe Italian fashioncapital.

But it's not all "ker-ching" couture for the 16-year-old stunner, who tells In Style magazine she loves nothing better than trawling through London's Notting Hill markets for a bargain.

Cilmi's album is sitting pretty at No.14 on the UK charts, while the single of the same name is second only to Madonna in Oz.

If Aussie starlet Sophie Monk was thinking of settling down for the next episode of David Letterman, she might want to flick the switch.

Paris Hilton has recorded a gushing interview with the talk-show host claiming she and relatively new boyfriend Benji Madden are planning to marry. Urgh.

The blonde bombshell dropped the clanger, with Madden - who only recently was set to wed Monk - giving the idea the thumbs up.

Hilton waxed lyrical about what a great couple they were, while flashing his initials in bling on her ring finger.

A New Zealand modelling agency says it is shocked an Auckland 16-year-old on its books appeared topless in an Australian magazine.

Zippora Seven and 16-year-old male model Levi Clarke featured in the shots in an 18-page spread in lifestyle and fashion magazine Russh Australia.

One image shows the pair in a bubble bath, with Zippora topless and Levi's eyes closed, as if he has passed out. Four bottles of champagne are visible.

Zippora also appeared topless riding a horse.

The Australian Classification Board says it has contacted Russh Australia's publisher about the shots. Australia's Classifications Act prohibits the depiction of nudity and sexual activity of minors under 18.

New Zealand modelling agency Red Eleven director Mandy Jacobsen said she was "shocked" and "disappointed in the pictures", which it had no involvement with.

"We have to be very careful about these girls on shoots, and what the story's about," she told The New Zealand Herald.

Ms Jacobsen said Red Eleven would be talking with Zippora's Australian agent, Priscilla Leighton-Clark, this week and seeking an explanation.

She said there was an unwritten rule in New Zealand preventing the use of under-18s in nude photo shoots.

She added Zippora was "a lot more mature than her age" and "would not have had a problem" with going topless.

Ms Leighton-Clark also said the photo shoot had gone too far.

"It's wrong that our girl has appeared in a magazine exposing her breasts when she's so young," Ms Leighton-Clark said.

"I can't be on every shoot. Had I known it was to be a topless shoot, (she) would never have done it."

Russh editor Natalie Shukur defended the pictures, saying they were a homage to supermodel Kate Moss and her one-time boyfriend, actor Johnny Depp, and that Russh readers "get it".

"These are beautiful images of two young people in character."

Zippora is at present completing a two-month modelling contract in Japan. Her mother, World of Wearable Arts award winner Ursula Dixon, is in Egypt.

Her brother, Jasper, 19, also a model, is on assignment in Milan.

Like Jennifer Hawkins, she's got the Miss Indy credentials - the only difference is Goldy gal Jana Peterson actually won the high-octane title.

And now the 21-year-old stunner has got a shot at the crown that launched Jen's high-flying international modelling and TV career.

Next week, Jana will line up against a couple of dozen other beauties in the Miss Universe Australia preliminary final in Melbourne.

The winner will represent Australia in the world finals to be held in Vietnam in July. "I think she's got a pretty good chance. It's very exciting for her," said Hayley Gibson, from Procon Leisure which runs Miss Indy.

Jana first strutted her stuff as a six-year-old in the Young Model of the Future quest run by the Endeavour Foundation. She went on to be crowned 2005 Miss Indy.

A New York jury has convicted a former mental patient of stalking actress Uma Thurman and a judge ordered him held for a psychiatric evaluation.

Jack Jordan, 37, was accused of sending harassing e-mails to Thurman's father and brother, loitering for hours on the steps of Thurman's Manhattan apartment and visiting her trailer on the set of the 2006 film, My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

He was convicted of stalking and aggravated harassment, for which he faces a maximum of one year in prison, and was cleared of two other counts of aggravated harassment.

New York Criminal Court Judge Gregory Carro ordered Jordan remanded into custody for psychiatric evaluation and declined a request by Jordan's lawyer to have him placed in protective custody.

The jury deliberated for a day after hearing the closing arguments on Monday.

Thurman, whose film credits also include the Kill Bill movies and Pulp Fiction, testified during the five-day trial that she was "completely freaked out" by Jordan's actions and feared for her life and the safety of her two children.

Jordan's lawyer, George Vomvolakis, said his client loved Thurman and was obsessed by her but that his behavior was merely "creepy," not criminal.

"I was trying to, in a misguided way, get her to meet me... while adhering to the law as well as her privacy as best as I could," Jordan testified during the trial.

"I was very respectfully trying to make my existence known to her," he said.

The actress' mother, Nena Thurman, said Jordan called her home in Woodstock, New York, and sent about 20 emails from 2005 to 2007 to her husband, Robert Thurman, a professor of Indo-Tibetan Studies at Columbia University.

Jordan's parents had him committed to a mental institution after he gave one of Thurman's assistants a cartoon of a razor blade and a picture of a bride without a head. Jordan said he thought the images were funny and he hoped to endear himself to Thurman.

He later came to New York and made repeated trips to Thurman's apartment, which he identified from an internet photo.

Jordan will be sentenced on June 2.
