Sophie Monk To Star In Click Flick

Sophie Monk has hit the big time. The ex-Bardot singer is to star in a $100 million film opposite Hollywood comedy king Adam Sandler, reports LA correspondent Nick Papps.Just four months after arriving in Tinseltown, Monk has won her first major movie role in the film Click.
Speaking from the set of the movie between takes, 25-year-old Monk said yesterday: "I'm so excited. This is the biggest thing I have ever done, there's no comparison."
The Gold Coast stunner is expected to pocket a six-figure salary for her performance as Sandler's girlfriend in the movie about a man who is able to rewind and replay parts of his life.
"I end up in bed with Adam Sandler," Monk said giggling.
"It's so surreal it's hysterical."
Even funnier is the fact that the former pop princess will share the screen with Baywatch legend David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff.
"I play David Hasselhoff's secretary and she gets around a bit – it's quite a role," she quipped.
Earlier this year Jennifer Hawkins was offered a role in Click, which also stars Kate Beckinsale and Christopher Walken, but had to turn it down because of her full schedule.
Monk said she was a "huge fan" of Sandler, the quirky gagster from hit comedies such as 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer.
The bubbly blonde said she auditioned for the part and cracked some jokes and that helped her land the big role. Click is due to finish filming in October and will be released in June
