Life in a Bali jail the past two months has been 'crazy', and she wished her heart would just stop beating.But an uncertain future is not stopping Australian model Michelle Leslie from making wedding plans behind bars, reported AAP.
The model, who used to work in Singapore, said plans for her big day with millionaire fiance, Sydney car dealership heir Scott Sutton, keep her going.
'My mum was actually picking wedding outfits for us the other day,' Ms Leslie said during the TV interview with Seven Network, recorded inside the prison.
It's a leap of faith, as no date has been set for her trial.
She faces up to 15 years' jail if found guilty of having two Ecstasy tablets.
She was arrested on 20 Aug at the entrance to an all-night dance party near Kuta beach after a random check.
The 24-year-old spent the second anniversary of her relationship with Mr Sutton in jail last month.
'I adore him, he's been absolutely beautiful through this whole thing, so supportive and loving, he's just been amazing.'
They shared a one-bedroom apartment in Sydney, not a luxury waterfront home which the media reported earlier.
Whenever Ms Leslie was working overseas, Mr Sutton would wake her each morning with a phone call, followed by a few more later, and a final one before her bedtime.
Now, she can only talk to him occasionally over the phone from prison.
In an interview three weeks after Ms Leslie's arrest, Mr Sutton said he did not fly over to see his fiancee at her and her lawyers', request, as it would be more 'sensible' for him to stay put.
She called his support a light in the dark times when she questions if she will survive.
Ms Leslie said she was struggling to cope with the stress of imprisonment.
The atmosphere behind bars is 'crazy 24-hours-a-day'.
Squat toilets and cold water bucket baths are a world away from her former jetsetting lifestyle.
'You just pray you don't wee on your feet,' she said.
Cockroaches and mosquitoes invade her cell, but Ms Leslie can't bring herself to kill them, because 'I know how it feels to have you life taken away from you'.
Not being able to speak to anyone because of the language barrier confuses her, so she prays often.
Ms Leslie converted to Islam a year before her arrest and has been wearing traditional Muslim dress since her imprisonment.
'I've never thought in my life that I would ever feel like that, but the pressure and the stress and the trauma - you are just sitting there and you can't cope with it, you know?'
