Radha Mitchell Lands New Role

Radha MitchellAussie actors Radha Mitchell and Sam Worthington have been snapped up to star in a $25 million movie about a man-eating crocodile.

Wolf man to put bite on rogue croc Mitchell, best known for parts in Love and Other Catastrophes, Phone Booth and Pitch Black, has signed on for a headlining role in Rogue, director Greg McLean's big-budget follow-up to his debut, Wolf Creek.

Wolf Creek, made for $1.3 million, has seven AFI Awards nominations, including best director for McLean, best original screenplay, best supporting actor and best cinematography.

Last year's AFI best actor winner Worthington has also scored a major role in Rogue.

Producers are believed to have signed a US actor for the male lead.
