Joss Stone is in and the Spice Girls are out of a book featuring the top names of British society."Posh Spice" Victoria Beckham remains the only former member of the "girl power" band in Debrett's People of Today 2006.
Devon-born teenage soul singer Stone, 18, is also named the book's Young Person of the Year for her impact on the international music scene.
New names to be included with the great and good in the guide include The Royle Family star Caroline Aherne and presenting duo Ant and Dec.
The book, in its 19th edition, lists 24,000 of what it sees as Britain's top achievers - 0.05pc of the population. Bob Geldof and Jonathan Ive, the designer of the iPod, join politicians and peers of the realm in the 2006 edition.
Bremner, Bird and Fortune star John Bird, Robbie Williams's former writing partner Guy Chambers, Trigger Happy comic Dom Joly, and presenter Vernon Kay have all secured a place.
But Kevin Keegan has been shown the red card after resigning from Manchester City in March and saying it was his last post as manager. The publishers said: "He's said it before but this time we're taking his word for it."
Former Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C and Geri Halliwell have all been removed from the guide, published by the self-proclaimed authority on Britain's aristocracy and all matters of etiquette.
Actors Kenneth Branagh and Joanna Lumley, and Working Title duo Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner - whose most recent hit was Pride and Prejudice - have won a place in a list of Britain's most influential people. Dame Shirley Bassey, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones, actors Tim Roth and Pete Postlethwaite are also in alongside the landowners and first ladies of Bond Street.
The biographical book is also awarding People of the Year titles to people who already feature in Debrett's - Lord Coe, for bringing the Olympics to the UK, Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff for the 2005 Ashes, and Jamie Oliver for his work on children's school meals. Architect Lord Foster and Sir Trevor McDonald are also named People of the Year, as well as newcomer Geldof.
