Could Neighbours star and Rogue Traders frontwoman Natalie Bassingthwaite be working too hard?She collapsed on the set of the Channel 10 soap on Wednesday and was taken to a Melbourne hospital. It turned out to be just a stomach bug but was enough to prevent Bassingthwaite from donning those trademark hot pants to perform with her band on rival Nine that afternoon.
Rogue Traders were set to play at the pre-recorded season finale of Australia's Funniest Home Videos but Bassingthwaite's manager Mark Byrne pulled the pin, insisting she wasn't up to it.
"We looked her up and down and told her not to go anywhere," he told Confidential yesterday.
Bassingthwaite was back on the Ramsay St set yesterday after taking her first sick day in more than two years.
But she has a hectic schedule ahead. She will open the AFI Awards with Rogue Traders tomorrow, front Ten's summer launch on Tuesday and shoot a new video on Thursday.
