Heiress honey Paris Hilton has become embroiled in a case involving carjacking, kidnapping and a "boob flashing" entrepreneur.The party princess has been named as a witness in the trial of Darnell Riley, 28, who allegedly broke into the home of the creator of the Girls Gone Wild porn series, Joe Francis, and tried to kidnap him, the Associated Press has reported.
"She's not charged with anything," Los Angeles District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said to AP.
"She just happens to be a witness."
Hilton was subpoenaed after an associate of Mr Riley allegedly told her about his involvement in the alleged break-in.
Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz, said she would "comply with the law" .
"I don't see what contribution, if any, she's going to be able to make in that case," he said.
Mr Riley has pleaded not guilty to the charges, his lawyer Ronald Richards said to AP.
Mr Riley was arrested in January last year.
It was not known whether Hilton would be called to testify at the preliminary hearing on November 21.
