Desperate Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher is no van-goer and she'll take you to court if you say otherwise.Hatcher has instructed London law firm Schillings to sue the British newspaper The Daily Sport for stories claiming that the 40-year-old actress has had "sex romps" in a Volkswagen van parked outside her LA home.
The reports "falsely alleged that she engages in sex romps on a regular basis with a series of men in a VW van parked outside her LA home for this purpose," according to her legal team.
The Associated Press says Hatcher's lawyers said today that the star "bitterly refutes these offensive allegations".
Retaining Schillings is apparently de rigueur for celebrities - it's the same firm Kate Hudson is using to sue several tabloids for claiming she suffers from eating disorders.
Hatcher told December's Allure magazine that she hasn't had a boyfriend since her divorce and can't even secure a one-night stand.
"I will never pay for dinner again. I will never pull out my credit card on a date again. I don't have to marry a gazillionaire, but I don't want to pay for dinner anymore," she said.
