The mystery surrounding Paris Hilton's rumoured trip to Melbourne in April might well be solved.The Eye reported this week that the more gregarious of the Hilton sisters was almost definitely making her way down to Melbourne.
With Hilton already flogging her fragrance and about to release her first album, the unexplained trip could be for promotional purposes.
But Eye reader Katarena also alerted us to an interesting Hilton family connection to the Australian Grand Prix, which is on at the same time as Paris's visit.
It seems the very rich Hiltons also have a large stake in Formula One team McLaren.
Following a sponsorship deal announced last year, the international hotel chain's logo will appear on Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya's cars.
Perhaps a few laps around the Albert Park track for the socialite heiress are pending.
