She's the Hollywood celebrity with a penchant for pinching things and now it appears Winona Ryder has added Naomi Watts's boyfriend to her "must have" list of desirable items.While the King Kong queen has been enjoying a serious relationship with Manchurian Candidate star Liev Schreiber for close to year, the latest reports from New York suggest '90s starlet Ryder has gate-crashed Watts's latest romance.
In what could only be describes as a Reality Bites scenario for the Aussie star, Schreiber and Ryder were spotted "hanging out and making out" in a restaurant in the West Village over the weekend.
The New York Post's Page Six column yesterday reported the sneaky duo were locking lips before Schreiber stepped outside for a smoke and started chatting with two girls on the footpath. Ryder was hot on his heels, rushing outside to "quickly reclaim her man," the paper writes.
It's a case of twice burned for Watts, who fought to keep convicted shop-lifter Ryder from Heath Ledger before their relationship ended in 2004.
Ryder even went to the lengths of issuing a statement denying she had anything to do with their split after US press reports accused her of being "the other woman" in the break-up of the on-again, off-again couple.
Schreiber, 38, enjoyed a Sydney summer sojourn with Watts over Christmas, telling Confidential he was having a "fantastic time" staying with his girlfriend at Deke and Eve Miskin's palatial pad, Altona.
Regardless, all bets will be riding on whether he accompanies Watts to the Oscars ceremony next week.
