She is one of Hollywood's hottest young starlets. And when Mischa Barton - who shot to fame as Marissa Cooper in the hit series The O.C. - jets into Sydney early today, it could be a chance for a local lad to land his own leading lady.The stylish 20-year-old was due to arrive with her parents and sister this morning as guest of David Jones and to feature as the centrepiece of the store's Tahitian Summer collection launch on Wednesday.
With her relationship with Whitestarr singer Cisco Adler reportedly on rocky ground, Barton has been playing the field.
Just last month she was seen snuggling up to a mystery man at a concert by Australian rockers Wolfmother in London. And on the weekend she was pictured holding hands with Blue singer Duncan James outside a London club.
Earlier this year, Barton was linked to actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
