Boy George will write some tracks for Kylie Minogue's comeback album, due out next year, The Sun reports.

Minogue was on hand to support George at his comeback gig in London this week, jumping on stage to congratulate the 80s pop star after he performed his new single Time Machine, a duet with singer Amanda Ghost.

"He was the first act Kylie saw live. She is thrilled to work with him," a source said to The Sun.

George and Ghost co-wrote James Blunt's megahit tearjerker You're Beautiful.

Minogue will relaunch her Showgirl tour in Australia next month after it was postponed last year when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
