It's splitsville for Hilary Duff and Joel Madden. The teen star and her Good Charlotte rocker beau called it quits after a 2.5 year relationship, People magazine reports."I can indeed confirm that Joel is single," the band's manager, Steve Feinberg, said. "We are not going to elaborate on Joel's personal life but I will say they have split."
Speculation on reasons for the split has centred on the couple's age difference - Duff is 19, while Madden is 27.
Madden revealed he was single at a DJ gig last week, saying the age gap was causing problems, the Chicago Tribune reported.
