Princes William and Harry want Kylie Minogue to be part of a star studded line up at a charity concert to commemorate their late mother Diana.Minogue could appear alongside Beyonce, Madonna and some of the world's biggest stars in the concert to be held on July 1 - Princess Diana's birthday and a month before the the 10th anniversary of her death.
The four hour concert will be one of the first at the new Wembley Stadium and money raised will go to an African children's charity.
An official announcement is due on December 12 but the princes put the plan in motion months ago.
They told their private secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton the concert would honour their mother's life and continue her charitable work.
"The princes are very excited about it," one source said. "They are very hands on, organising and selecting their favourite bands."
Apart from Minogue, other artists approached include The Killers, rapper Pharrell Williams and Diana's favourites George Michael and Sir Elton John.
"Prince William is mad about Beyonce and Prince Harry wants Pharrell," the source said.
