Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is engaged to her basketball player boyfriend Tony Parker.The sportsman, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs, flew into Los Angeles after a game and surprised the actress at her home.
"Eva and Tony are officially engaged," Longoria's spokeswoman Liza Anderson told People magazine.
"The couple have never been happier.
"The proposal was romantic and perfect."
The pair plan to marry in France next summer in a "big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends".
Longoria, 31, and the French-born Parker, 24, met in November 2004.
They split briefly in September this year but rekindled their relationship on a romantic break in Paris.
