Paris Hilton has offended fans in the Swiss city of Basel after announcing she was delighted to be in Zurich.The hotel heiress is in Basel promoting her new line of watches when she made the gaff at the Baselworld jewellery fair.
She said: "I am delighted to be here, it's my first time in Zurich."
Hilton also admitted she is snubbing her own line of watches in favour of time pieces by Rolex and Frank Muller.
When she returns to the US, Paris will have some more explaining to do.
She's been ordered to appear in court for allegedly violating probation by driving on a suspended license.
Prosecutors are seeking to revoke her probation on grounds that she violated its terms, which could result in jail time.
