Dannii Minogue has been embarrassed by the release on the internet of steamy pictures of her with a naked female lap dancer.The pictures came from CCTV footage taken at London's Puss in Boots nightclub and show the Australian pop star kissing, fondling and simulating sex with a dancer called Jupiter.
Minogue had launched a legal fight to buy the intimate pictures after they emerged a few years ago, with her lawyers eventually agreeing a settlement for her to own copyright.
But the pictures have now resurfaced on the internet and are being emailed around the world, the Daily Star reports.
"Dannii is going to be very upset," an unnamed friend said.
"She has always had a sexy image, thanks to her pop videos and modelling shoots.
"But she has always done her best to keep a good status as a pop idol, because she has so many fans."
The lurid pictures have resurfaced as Minogue's career is on a high.
She has gathered a strong fan base through her primetime gig as a judge on Australia's Got Talent and has been confirmed as a new judge on the UK version of The X Factor.
When the photos first surfaced last year, a club patron said Dannii was "having the time of her life and didn't care who saw".
"She wasn't in a private booth or the VIP area, she was on the dance floor.
"I can't believe how far they went. It was more like a porn film. There were hands and tongues everywhere I thought it was going to turn into a full-on orgy."
