Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears has been dumped by boyfriend Casey Aldridge because he doubts he is the father, while Britney fears being forced into a psych ward.

Aldridge is insisting that TV star Jamie Lynn, 16, has a paternity test to prove he is the child's father, according to U.S reports.

Jamie Lynn has yet to confirm Aldridge as the father and insiders say the pair's relationship has been shaky for months.

Casey's doubts have been revealed by a pal of Jamie Lynn's troubled sister Britney Spears.

"He wants a paternity test," Britney told the Spears family friend, according to In Touch Weekly.

"Casey doesn't want to be with her until he's sure that he's the father."

Rumours have swirled that Jamie Lynn is in fact pregnant by an older TV producer.

J amie was seen earlier this week attending a parenting class, in preparation of her impending birth, at an Adult Education Centre in Kentwood, Louisiana.

Meanwhile Britney Spears fled California fearing her family were about to take drastic action to force her into emergency psychiatric care.

In a bid to hoax the media and her family, word was put out that the pop superstar was flying to New York - as well as Hawaii, Las Vegas, Barbados and Mexico.

The ongoing scams eventually involved at least two private jets, several teams of security, numerous limos - and even police.

But the amazing lengths she went through were not a sign of her desperation for peace or the star - at her lowest ever having been banned from contacting her sons - was finally seeking help.

Instead, Britney was traveling with her paparazzi boyfriend - and his paparazzi pals.

The star was known to be with Adnan Ghalib - the Birmingham-born photographer she fell for while he hounded her on the streets of L.A. - as well as at least one of his colleagues.
