Australia's Miss Indy Jana Peterson Tries For Miss Universe Crown

Like Jennifer Hawkins, she's got the Miss Indy credentials - the only difference is Goldy gal Jana Peterson actually won the high-octane title.And now the 21-year-old stunner has got a shot at the crown that launched Jen's high-flying international modelling and TV career.
Next week, Jana will line up against a couple of dozen other beauties in the Miss Universe Australia preliminary final in Melbourne.
The winner will represent Australia in the world finals to be held in Vietnam in July. "I think she's got a pretty good chance. It's very exciting for her," said Hayley Gibson, from Procon Leisure which runs Miss Indy.
Jana first strutted her stuff as a six-year-old in the Young Model of the Future quest run by the Endeavour Foundation. She went on to be crowned 2005 Miss Indy.
