No Emmy For Katherine Heigl

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl has pulled out of this year's Emmy Awards, blaming the medical show's script writers for not giving her a juicy enough role.The actress, who won a best supporting actress Emmy last year, says her character wasn't given material worthy of a nomination. Heigl told the LA Times: "I am truly grateful for the honour that the Academy bestowed upon me last year. I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the Academy organisation, I withdrew my name from contention."
