Paris Hilton Gets Sued Over Lack Of Publicity For Film

Paris Hilton is being sued for allegedly failing to fulfil promotional obligations for a 2006 comedy film she starred in.A lawsuit has been filed against the heiress-turned-actress alleging she owes $US75,000 ($87,172) in damages for her lack of involvement in publicity for National Lampoon's Pledge This!, reports Associated Press.
Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc. said it paid Hilton, 27, and her company Paris Hilton Entertainment Inc. $US1 million (AUD$1.161 million) for "Hilton's acting services" and for "reasonable promotion and publicity'' of the movie.
The lawsuit claims Hilton failed to honour obligations for interviews and talk show appearances to promote the film in which she also received credit as an executive producer.
Hilton played Victoria English, the president of an exclusive college sorority.
